Cannabis Benefits

Known medicinal cannabis use began as early as the Stone Age (Over 5,000 years ago)!

ECS
The endocannabinoid system
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is the master regulatory system of the body whose function is to maintain homeostasis within our bodies and minds. When our ECS is out of balance, we experience a clinical endocannabinoid deficiency (CED), which can lead to myriad physical & psychological ailments and diseases. When our own bodies fail to rebalance the ECS on their own, we can help rebalance our ECS by supplementing with the phytocannabinoids found in cannabis.

Both clinical research and anecdotal evidence show that cannabis can help treat many physical, neurological, and psychological symptoms and/or disorders. For example, cannabis is a 20x stronger anti-inflammatory medication than aspirin and a 2x stronger anti-inflammatory medication than hydrocortisone. Some of the conditions that cannabis has been known to help include the following: Acne, ADD/ADHD, Addiction, AIDS, Alzheimer’s disease, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Anxiety, Anorexia, Antibiotic Resistance, Arthritis, Autism, Auto-Immune Disorders, Behavioral disorders, Bipolar disorder, Brain Tumors, Cancer, Chronic pain, Concussion, Depression, Diabetes, Digestive issues, Endocrine disorders, Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia, Gastrointestinal disorders, Glaucoma, Heart Disease, Hepatitis C, High Blood Pressure, HIV, Huntington’s disease, Immunodeficiencies, Incontinence, Inflammation, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Kidney disease, Liver disease, Metabolic Syndrome, Migraines, Mood disorders, MRSA, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Muscle Spasms, Nausea, Neuropathy, OCD, Osteoporosis, Panic attacks, Parkinson’s disease, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Schizophrenia, Seizures, Skin Disorders, Sleep Apnea, Spinal Cord injury, Stress, Stroke, Tourette’s Syndrome

Consumption
Routes of administration
Using cannabis helps to replenish deficiencies that our own ECSs have failed to do on their own. There are many ways to safely consume cannabis that do not include smoking such as using: tinctures, extracts, edibles, transdermal patches, balms/salves, vape pens, & suppositories. Consuming cannabis does not have to make you feel intoxicated or “high.” The rule of thumb for medical cannabis consumption is to “start low and go slow.”
